Equipment: Dry suit, helmet, life jacket, booties & paddle

Dates:

  • Evenings in Whitehorse: May 25-26 & Full days on Tatshenshini River: May 29 & 30

Our Yukon raft guide training gives new guides practical oar and paddle skills.

Course includes:

Course content includes practical training for raft guides including oar and paddle instruction. River rescue, boat handling, and other practical rafting skills. The course will meet federal requirements.

Course location/river will be determined closer to the course date due to Water levels. Camping will likely be required.

Schedule

Tuesday and Wednesday Evenings: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. City Intake
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Tatshenshini River (Night spend at Blanchard Camp)
Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Tatshenshini River
