Day Trips

Our Tatshenshini Day Trip is a world-class guided rafting excursion through gorgeous alpine scenery and exciting class 3 and 4 whitewater rapids. Thanks to our guides’ expertise and the river’s versatility, our Tat Day trip is open to all ages and ability levels and the excitement level is catered to whoever is in the boat.

The Tutshi is a small, technical river located on the scenic Skagway Road. The trip starts with a series of small lakes leading to the headwaters of the river. The gentle river quickly disappears, as does the horizon line and you enter the heart of the canyon. The Tutshi canyon is fast, generally grade III, with a grade IV drop known as the Nozzle, which we will scout. Below the canyon we will paddle a section known as “The Drops”, which is a series of grade IV and V rapids, with flat pools at the bottom.

We run the thrilling Liard River on the long weekends in May or September. Big water with Grade IV rapids, huge waves and hot springs. Big water rafting. We are expecting the river to be high and super fun. Meet at 11AM. at Fireside Lunch provided. We paddle famous rapids such as Cranberry, Mountain Portage, Whirlpool Canyon and Portage Brule. We will stop at the riverside Portage Brule Hot Springs.
